Jagcor Village
After a 6-month construction period, Jagcor completed the construction of its 122-man accommodation complex in Sommerville – Kalgoorlie in late 2023.
The complex is the first specialised workers accommodation project in the area and is leased to a large mining company operating nearby – easing local accommodation pressures for businesses and wider community.
The village encompasses 61 12.2m x 2.8m 2 SPQ, 13 module kitchen/cool rooms/drystore/dining and retail facility complete with air lock, 4 fully functional laundries/linen stores, state of the art 4 module gym and ablution building, separate male/female ablution block, BBQ area, maintenance shed, secure locker room and security hut. Jagcor designed and constructed the transportable buildings at its Perth facility. The install, fit out and commissioning of the facility took four months.
